<p>Established in 1989, Development Education Society (DEEDS) is an Indian non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organisation. DEEDS operates in Bangalore and in several rural areas in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Its guiding commitment is to improve the conditions for the vulnerable sections of society, by <b>helping people to help themselves</b>.</p>
